We all use a pendrive for storing files, photos, docs, videos, songs, movies etc etc. The ease of carry and the large storage space in a small handy device make it more popular and easy to handle. A pendrive is another name for a usb flash drive.
Most of these pendrives do not have any security. The chances of a pendrive being affected with viruses are very high as they are being connected on different laptops, desktops , phablets etc. What if all the data stored in a usb is lost or not being visible due to a virus attack ?

But problem arises when we come to know that there are files in the pendrive, but we are not able to access them. - click start button and type 'cmd' and press enter.
- the command prompt window opens.
- Open the pemndrive location. Eg. If the pendrive loc is "I:drive", Computer>Removeable disc (I:)
- Type "I" in cmd and hit enter
- Type 'attrib -r -s -h *.* /s /d'
- hit enter.
All the affected files will be made visible !!!
