How to install Cyanogenmod in your smartphone?

Cyanogen mode is an open source OS basec on android platform. It helps the user to improve the features and user interfaces through custom made ROMs. By installing this, the features of the phone are improved manyfold. It is even possible to upgarde to the latest android versions too.

All that you have to be cautious is to folow the instructions carefully before proceeding to install.If not poroperly installed chances are high that the phone may get damaged. So it would be nice to test dose in an old phone. Chances of losing the warranty is not avoidable too.

Instructions for the Installation.

1. Install Cyanogenmod by opening 'Settings' and tick the 'Unknown sources' in the security tab.

2. Type in http://get.cm fro the phone browser and download Cyanogenmod installer app.

3. Open the notification tab and find out the downloaded Oneclick.apk file. Select and Click OK.
Open the app once installed. Follow the instructions.

4. Next step required is to download the cyanogenomod windows installer. For that us ethe below link.

5. After that connect phone to computer and follow the instructions displaying on the screen.
